Missing dans (from past year to Green/Red)
Missing dans (White to KATSU-DON)
Best way to do this; put all yearly dan packs in a single folder named Nijiiro, and make box.defs based on the years. (2025, 2024, 2023, etc...)
Nijiiro checklist:
Not fully done, missing Kurouto to Tatsujin
Not fully done, Kyuu courses are missing, as well as Shodan to Fifth Dan
Gen 3 checklist:
Green is not fully done, as Kyuu courses are missing, as well as Shodan to Ninth Dan
If we're going to do Dans, I'm unsure if we should do them in the now archived dans repo. Let me know what everyone thinks about this, as I have made a pack of older dans in the past. The problem is that there are some Dan courses that have unknown gold clear conditions. So that might be a problem when we get to that.
Should be relatively simple with 0auBSQ's Dan chart maker, too. As more PRs will be made, the check list will be updated over time.
If there's anything we need to discuss about the Dan format for specific simulators, personally I would say if it works on TJAP3 then it would work about basically everywhere else, kind of like how OpenTaiko does it. TNDE uses a different system with the #NEXTSONG command iirc, but I'm hoping this won't cause any trouble for people playing.
Another thing is related to t3u8 files as they are currently outdated afaik. Might as well stick to the legacy format if it's still being used, so we could just delete those files right? Hope to hear from the ESE team soon for more clarification on what our stance is for this, community feedback is appreciated.
EDIT: If we make this entire thing work, also add Asia Kyuu courses.
Seems that 2026 十段3曲目 has some kind of animation tied to it. No other simulator apart from TaikoNauts (maybe OpenTaiko??) can do separate reveal animations for songs, so making it as a regular Dan will work for now.
